About Course

The  Level 3 Diploma in Adult Care, a 58 total credit (39 credits from the 14 Mandatory units and a further 19 credits from the optional units) qualifications are RQF (OFQUAL) regulated and accredited in the United Kingdom. They are suitable for those with a mindset to develop their knowledge and skill-set to study or work in the health and social care industry in the United Kingdom or any other developed country.

Both diplomas partly qualifies one as a Senior/Adult Carer (suited for career pursuit in the health and social care industry in support and care roles within Hospitals, residential settings, supported living, domiciliary services or day care services) and as a student seeking to be admitted to study Nursing or other Healthcare Support related courses in School.

Progression

Successful candidates can progress to study Level 4 Diploma in Healthcare Support/Adult Care, including other level 4 qualifications, BSc. Honours in a Healthcare related course, Nursing and Dental Nursing, amongst other things.

Qualification structure

Level 3 Diploma in Healthcare Support consists of 15 mandatory units (45 credits) and optional units (20 credits) for a combined total of 65 credits, while the Level 3 Diploma in Adult Care is a combined total of 58 credits.

Entry requirements

• Candidates with higher qualification such as degree will find it less difficult to complete the programme.
